Life is Smore Fun | Doodlebug Design Creative Team | Great Outdoors

Hello friends! Today I am sharing a fun 12×12 scrapbook layout using the Great Outdoors collection from Doodlebug Design. One of our favorite things to do when the weather starts to cool down is have a fire out back and make smores! The kids absolutely love them and the Great Outdoors collection has the perfect pieces to document the memories!

I started with the Smore Fun cut file and backed it with papers from the Great Outdoors 6×6 paper pad! I used the Lily White Petite Prints dot-stripe as my background and matted it onto two different pattern papers from the Great Outdoors collection.

I used some Catherine Pooler Designs Ink in the color Sand Castle to add a little ink blending to the background and some splatters! I also used some around the marshmallows in the cut file!

The adorable S’more Fun shaker pop had to go on this layout! I placed it down towards the bottom of my layout and added a few marshmallow sprinkles!

I embellished around the page using the Great Outdoors icon stickers, mini icon stickers and odds & ends!

I had so much fun putting this layout together and using the super cute marshmallows in this collection! Here is a look a my completed layout!

One of my favorite go to designs is a grid! There are so many different ways to create a grid on your page and today I wanted to share how you can use the new Doodlebug Design Love Notes Stand Alone die set to create a fun grid layout!

I love the new Lots of Love collection from Doodlebug Design! The floral papers are adorable and I can’t get over the adorable images! I used the Lots of Love 6×6 papers to die cut the larger envelope die.

Once all my envelopes were die cut I assembled them all and then laid them out on a piece of white cardstock that I trimmed down to 11.50×11.50. I adhered them all down with some adhesive and then matted the cardstock on some pattern papers from the Lots of Love collection.

I had fun embellishing the envelopes with the Lots of Love Mini Icon Stickers and Chit Chat pieces!

This layout was so much fun to create and I love how it showcases a lot of the pattern papers in the Lots of Love collection! The small envelopes are super cute and create a fun interactive grid!

To finish off my layout I added a large chit chat title piece to the bottom corner of the layout. I added foam adhesive to pop it up from the page and then added a Memories word sticker from the This and That sticker sheet.

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today! I hope you are inspired to create a grid layout! Make sure to check out the full Lots of Love collection and my blog post over on the Doodlebug Design Blog!

Crafty Friends | Bella Blvd Creative Team

I am excited to be sharing my first layout using the Let Us Adore Him collection from Bella Blvd!

I was really drawn to the beautiful Purity floral paper in this collection so I stared by fussy cutting one whole sheet! I knew I wanted to use one of the new Bella Cut Outs too that goes with this collection! I cut the heart cut out in half that comes in the The Reason cut out pack! I backed it with different pattern papers from the Let Us Adore Him collection.

To add some color to my background I used some Catherine Pooler inks in It’s A Girl and Party Dress. To blend these two colors together on my white textured cardstock I used a domed blending brush from Scrapbook.com!

For the second half of my heart I decided to fill it with all the fussy cut florals and the Joy Puffy stickers from the Let Us Adore Him collection! I just love how this turned out! To finish off the layout I matted the layout on a piece of trimmed down Bella Besties Hearts & Ombre paper in Punch and then matted it all on the Purity pattern paper!

You can grab this collection at Scrapbook.com or A Cherry on Top! I recommend grabbing a few of the Purity pattern paper to fussy cut all the florals! Have a wonderful day and thanks so much for stopping by today!

Sara- https://rediscoveryourstash.com/sarascraps/2020/6/29/july-2020-blog-hop-with-a-cherry-on-top
For my project today I am mixing the Tim Holtz Speckled Egg with some Vicki Boutin Let’s Wander collection I picked up in the A Cherry on Top store! I think this color is a great match with this collection and I wanted to add some splash of color to my background. I started out with a cut file from the Silhouette Design Store. I backed it with papers from the Vicki Boutin 6×8 paper pad.
I love all the colors and patterns in this collection and they look so great behind this cut file. For my background I used the Tim Holtz Distress Oxide ink pad and the Tim Holtz Distress Spray. I added some ink to an acrylic block and added water using my spray bottle. I picked up the color using some clear packaging and added it to my white American Crafts textured cardstock. Once it was dry I went in with some of the Speckled Egg Distress Spray to add some splatters. Once everything was completely dry I added foam adhesive to the back of my file and adhered down to my background. I love how the color looks peeking out around the cut file.
This collection was perfect to document our little cruise to get some ice cream in our new car. Not all adventures have to be big! You can always turn something into an adventure!
This color is a great new addition to the line up! It is going to be fun to use it on fall and winter projects as well and I can’t wait! You can see the full line up of Speckled Egg HERE at A Cherry on Top crafts! Make sure to pick up your favorites today! Here is a look at my completed layout!

Now lets get into my layout using this gorgeous new collection! I love all the beautiful florals in this collection and knew I had to fussy cut the florals in the This Story paper. I used the Always 12×12 paper as my background. It already has a painted mixed media look to it so it was perfect!

I am documenting the photo I took on Father’s Day! We had such a great day celebrating Mike and he was so excited Drake came home to spend some time with us. I popped up my photo using some foam adhesive and added the fussy cut flowers around it. I added a lot of foam adhesive to the flowers to give them some dimension.

I did pull a couple stickers from the Noteworthy collection like the puffy memories sticker I used for my title! The colors were just to perfect not to use it! I added in a few ephemera pieces from the new collection as well and created a small cluster to the bottom right of the page. To finish off my layout I added in a few Pinkfresh Studio My Favorite Story enamel dots and my journaling using the We R Memory Keepers typewriter. Here is a look at my completed layout.

Snapshot | 5th & Monaco

Hey friends I am back with a layout using the beautiful Pink Paislee 5th & Monaco collection I received in my monthly Design Team box from A Cherry on Top! I instantly fell in love with this collection when it released! It is even better in person friends! I love the beautiful floral designs and the colors! Oh and we can’t forget that there is a bold black and white stripe that always has my heart. I added everything I could from this collection to my DT box! I love it all! I have some new cut files to work with from Rulanas Cut files! She reached out to me recently and asked if I would like to create with some of her files and of coarse I said yes! They are so pretty and perfect for all types of paper crafts! You all know how much I love cut files and working with small businesses! I knew the Floral Borders cut file would go perfect with the Pink Paislee 5th & Monaco collection.

I really wanted the Floral Borders cut file to stand out so I decided to cut it out on some black textured cardstock. I just love how it pops on this page against the colors in this collection. It helps the pink flowers and green leaves really stand out against the pattern paper background I picked out.

I would normally pull a piece of white cardstock for my base but I had to use Paper 10 from 5th & Monaco on this layout! I love how the black cut file looks against this polka dot paper! I embellished the layout using die cuts, stickers, dimensional flowers and an epoxy flair from Scrappin Happy Studio. For my title I used one of the gorgeous gold phrase puffy Thickers. Here is a look at my completed layout!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you will head on over to Rulanas Cut Files and have a look at all her beautiful files. To get your crafty hands on this collection from Pink Paislee you can find it HERE at A Cherry on Top.
