Clique Kits-Layout Share

Hey Everyone!  I have been super busy over the last few months but feel super blessed to be doing something I love and with some amazing ladies!  Clique Kits has really taken off and we could not be happier!  We will be celebrating our one year anniversary in April and it has been such an exciting year!  If you have not yet been to the Clique Kits site I would love for you to take a moment and have a look around!  Today I wanted to share a layout I created with our February kit.  My scrap time has been reduced a little but I do try to make time to be creative!  Our February kit featured the Serendipity collection from Dear Lizzy and was jam packed with goodness!  I used one of the exclusive cut files for my background and backed the cut hearts with pattern paper from the kit.

Most of the embellishments came from the kit but I did pull some out from my stash like the Pinkfresh Studio pink dots and some wood veneers.  The photo is from my daughters 1st birthday party.  She was totally digging into her cake and having the best time!  She did eat the whole thing and then passed out in her chair!  I had so much fun creating this layout and the cut out hearts were a lot of fun to back with the pattern paper!  I hope you enjoyed my layout today!  Clique Kits has some amazing kits planned for the rest of the year!  You will want to get on the our wait list so you can enjoy a monthly kit delivered to your door!  It is like Christmas every month!  Each kit is carefully planned and packed with so many products including unique indie/homemade items and Clique Kits Exclusives!  We also have a private Facebook group for subscribers but if you are looking for a new kit club or community you can shoot me an email at erica@cliquekits.com and I can get you added to the group!
Thanks so much for stopping today and I hope you all have a wonderful day!

Clique Kits December Blog Share

Welcome to the Clique Kits December Blog Share.  You should have arrived from Jody’s blog but if you were just stopping for a visit you can start from the beginning HERE.  This month our kit features the beautiful collection from Heidi Swapp September Skies!

I am in love with this kit and the Heidi Swapp collection because it can be used for both feminine and masculine projects.  With 4 boys and 1 girl I need a good mixture of both papers!  Heidi included some great pieces in this collection that are perfect for both!  I love that this kit included a stamp set from Sweet Stamp Shop and the sequin stamps are fabulous!!  Here is a look at the layout I created using the December 2014 Enchanted Meadow kit!
I used the current sketch from Creative Scrappers as inspiration to get my layout going.  I love all their sketches and vising their site is so inspiring!
The photo I used for this layout is of myself and my oldest son.  It was his Sophomore year Homecoming dance and I was beyond thrilled to see him all dressed up with a smile on his face!  We may not always agree on everything but this boy of mine has changed my life in more ways than he will ever know.  For this layout I did add some pink and floral along with a good punch of navy.  I love how it turned out and even he loved it!  Thanks so much for stopping by today!  Your next stop along the way is Lacey!  Make sure to comment along the way and let us know on the Clique Kits blog that you finished the hop for your chance to win the December kit!  Share our blog hop on your Facebook or any other social media and get an extra chance to win!  Just leave an additional comment on the Clique Kits blog!

Clique Kits June Blog Share

Welcome to the June 2014 Clique Kits Blog Share!  This month we are featuring 2 fabulous paper collections in our kit and of coarse some amazing embellishments.  Heidi Swapp’s Favorite Things and DIY Boutique from Simple Stories.

If you have arrived from Jody’s blog then you are in the right place!  If you just stopped for a visit please click here and start the blog share from the beginning.  The challenge/theme for this month’s blog share was to share one or more of our favorite things either by photos, journaling or in the blog post.

So lets get to some of my favorites!  I have 2 projects to share and the first one is of my favorite crew, my kids!  They are my world and I am so blessed to have each and everyone of them!  They fill my heart with so much joy and love and at times heartache but I could not imagine my life without them!  Each one of them unique and different but I can see myself in each one of them.  Time sure does fly by so I document everything!  The big events in life but most of all the little moments that I do not want to forget!  Here is a snapshot of us(except for dad he was working)backing out of our driveway!  My oldest, Drake, looks back and then looks at me and says “Mom can you believe you have this many kids?”  My reply was, “Yes Drake I can believe it and I love it so lets take a selfie!”  He just laughed and snapped a quick pic!  This is one of my all time favorites!

I used the current sketch from Creative Scrappers and the June 2014 Clique Kit and had a lot of fun with these fun colors and patterns and I love the mix of black and white!  The Pinkfresh Studio embellishments,  Chic Tags acetate pieces and Clique Kits exclusives are a perfect combo to finish up my layout!

My next favorite is of coarse Mrs. Heidi Swapp herself!  She is the Julia Roberts of scrapbooking in my book!  One of my absolute favorite designers and I was lucky enough to take one of her class and meet her in person!  I drove almost 2 hours to see her at Hannah’s Home Accents in Antioch, IL and it was so much fun!  I decided to create a fun banner to document some of the photos and memories from this day.  This banner will be used as decor piece in my scrap room and when I am ready to take it down it will easily become a mini album!  It is nice to have these memories displayed for everyone to see!

I even added a little interactive piece on my banner to add another photo and some journaling.  Now for a look at what it looks like as a mini album!

I used the new Lawn Fawn Stitched Party Banners to create the mini album and I love how it turned out and how quick and easy it all came together!  I hope you enjoyed my projects sharing some of my favorites!  Remember to comment along the way and on the Clique Kits blog for your chance to win a $10.00 gift certificate to the Clique Kits shop!  Sign up to receive the Clique Kits newsletter and follow the CK blog for an extra chance to win!  Your next stop in the blog share is our very own Lacey and she has some amazing projects to share!  Here is the complete blog share list in case you get lost along the way.

Clique Kits May Blog Share

Welcome to the May Pep Rally!  If you  have arrived from Jody’s blog then you are in the right place.  If you are just stopping for a visit please head on over to the Clique Kits blog and start the Pep Rally from the beginning.  This month we are featuring projects using the May 2014 Clique Kit Field Trip.  This kit features the line As You Wish by Fancy Pants Designs!

I wanted to play along with the sketch challenge from Fancy Pants Designs that is featured in their new newsletter!  In case you missed it our very own Gia Lau is the featured designer for their May newsletter so be sure to check it out HERE!  Here is a look at my layout using the sketch provided in the Fancy Pants newsletter.

For my next project I put together a mini album filled with photos of our youngest baby Eli James and his many adventures.  The cover photo was just taken yesterday as we were leaving the doctors office.  He is getting so big he likes to walk on his own now and carry his own bag like a big boy!  I had to photograph this time and document it.  Time goes by way to fast and I want to remember every bit of it!  If you have been to my blog before you know how much I love to make minis!  I used the new We R Memory Keepers Evolution machine to die cut some of the papers from the kit for the pages of my album.  The machine came with some great dies that were perfect to create my pages.  Next all I needed to do was add some layers, my photos and embellish my pages!

Thanks so much for spending some time with me today!  You next stop is Lacey and you are going to love what she has to share with you!  Remember to leave comments along the way, follow the Clique Kits blog and Facebook for your chance to win the Wish You Were Here stamp set by Lawn Fawn and a roll of green chevron washi tape!

It’s Debutante Week!

Happy Thursday everyone!  Today I am up on the Clique Kits blog sharing my first layout using Clique Kits very first kit Debutante!!

This kit features the Plus One collection from Amy Tangerine and includes exclusive Clique Kits embellishments along with some fabulous wood veneers from Pinkfresh Studio.  You do not want to miss out on this kit!  There are still a few kits available and you can subscribe HERE.

I created a layout to document a couple photos of my daughter in her tutu!  She is not a girly girl at all so for her to put on a tutu and be a little girly for once is rare so I had to photograph and document it!  Here is a look at my layout.

I would love for you to head on over to the Clique Kits blog to check out my full blog post and while you are there you will find more inspiration using this fabulous kit from Gia and Lacey.  Thanks so much for stopping today!

Let’s Scrap

Can you believe August is almost over!  This is my last month as Design Team Member over at Let’s Scrap and my last sketch and layout to share with you as a DT Member!  I will definitely continue to use their amazing sketches and share them with you all on my blog from time to time!  If you have not already joined their fabulous community please head on over and join!  You will not regret it!  This week our sketch is sponsored by Scrapbook Studio.

To be entered into this weeks draw you must post your layout/card no later than September 3, 2013 at 11:59 pm (by the main page clock).  Here is a look at this weeks Let’s Scrap sketch!

I used the right side of this weeks sketch as my inspiration and came up with this layout of my fancy little wild child!

You can see that I only used one photo because like I have said before scrapping one photo is just my kind of layout.  I did not follow this weeks sketch exactly but I used it for my inspiration and turned into my own.  I loved the placement of the large photo so I did use that and I really like the large title on the side and  I just turned mine in a different direction than what the sketch shows.  I love this Instagram of my daughter that I took last week.  She had just had her hair curled by my friends daughter and they put a little light make-up on her and gave her a pair of their sunglasses!  She is such a tomboy but she still loves to dress up and look a little fancy from time to time!  She is growing up way to fast for this mama!  I used some Maggie Holmes that I had left over and a few bits and pieces of different things that were on my desk, stamps from Paper Wings Productions, and of coarse my favorite Thickers!  I thank you so much for stopping and I enjoy reading all of your comments!  Thanks so much for all the bloggy love!!  Have a Fancy day!!
