Clique Kits October Blog Share

Hello everyone and welcome to the October Blog share!  You should have arrived from Gia’s blog but if you did not please CLICK HERE to start the share from the beginning!  This month our kit featured the lovely Happy Things collection by Pinkfresh Studio!  We love anything Pinkfresh and Kinnari is always coming out with new, unique and fresh products!  We just had to use this collection in a kit!  In addition we had some fun exclusives designed by our very own Lacey Gasper!  Can you say adorable!  The cactus flair and macaroon images in the exclusives are my favorite!  We also came out with our very first stamp sets this month!  They are now available in the CK shop so pick yours up today before they are gone!  Remember you can use the 10% off code available from any varsity team member!

Today I am sharing a layout I created with an older cut file avilable in the CK shop!  You can purchase this for only $1.99 and it comes with 3 designs!  This background is one of my favorites and it is so fun to back these cut files with pattern paper from the kits!
I did keep the embellishing very light because I wanted the background and photo to stand out!  A simple title of #love with some foam Dear Lizzy Thickers from the Clique Kits shop and the layout was complete!  Adding pattern paper to the back of these cut files does take a little time but it so worth the end result!  I just love how this turned out and hope to see you create something fun with your cut files!  We have a great digital store with fun cut files and printables!  These are great to help stretch your kits!

I hope you enjoyed my layout today!  We have a fantastic hop for you today and we hope you leave today filled with inspiration!  If you are not yet part of our Facebook group we would love to have you!  Just CLICK HERE and join for a community filled with fun, laughs, inspiration and the most amazing crafters!  Your next stop on the blog share is Leeann!  Remember to leave some love along the way for your chance to win an October Kit!

Let’s Scrap

Can you believe August is almost over!  This is my last month as Design Team Member over at Let’s Scrap and my last sketch and layout to share with you as a DT Member!  I will definitely continue to use their amazing sketches and share them with you all on my blog from time to time!  If you have not already joined their fabulous community please head on over and join!  You will not regret it!  This week our sketch is sponsored by Scrapbook Studio.

To be entered into this weeks draw you must post your layout/card no later than September 3, 2013 at 11:59 pm (by the main page clock).  Here is a look at this weeks Let’s Scrap sketch!

I used the right side of this weeks sketch as my inspiration and came up with this layout of my fancy little wild child!

You can see that I only used one photo because like I have said before scrapping one photo is just my kind of layout.  I did not follow this weeks sketch exactly but I used it for my inspiration and turned into my own.  I loved the placement of the large photo so I did use that and I really like the large title on the side and  I just turned mine in a different direction than what the sketch shows.  I love this Instagram of my daughter that I took last week.  She had just had her hair curled by my friends daughter and they put a little light make-up on her and gave her a pair of their sunglasses!  She is such a tomboy but she still loves to dress up and look a little fancy from time to time!  She is growing up way to fast for this mama!  I used some Maggie Holmes that I had left over and a few bits and pieces of different things that were on my desk, stamps from Paper Wings Productions, and of coarse my favorite Thickers!  I thank you so much for stopping and I enjoy reading all of your comments!  Thanks so much for all the bloggy love!!  Have a Fancy day!!

Paper Wings Productions – Feature Friday

Hello Everyone!  I am very excited to be posting for the first time as a Flight Attendant over at Paper Wings Productions!  Today I am featuring the fabulous stamp set Snapshot Framer and how I used it in a mini album!

Here are a couple sneaks of my mini and you can see my full post and a ton more photos HERE!

This album came together very quickly and this stamp set was great to add just the right touches to make it that more special!  Do you like to use stamps on your mini albums or do you use them just for cards?  Please share!  Thanks so much for stopping today and have a fabulous day!
